The Ukraine War: One Year On

In the twelve long months since Russia invaded Ukraine, the Ukrainian people have not lost their resolve, and neither have the teams who so faithfully send medicines and supplies.

To date, our partners have sent enough Blessings’ products to help an estimated 1,007,381 people in and around Ukraine. Knowing how important every life is, we’re filled with gratitude for the donors who have made it possible for us to supplement every Ukraine order.

Between direct exports and partners carrying in medicines and supplies, 13.7 tons have left Blessings’ warehouse and made it into the hands of Ukrainian refugees or in-country residents.

Crossing ALL Borders, run by Joeth Strickland, has sent a minimum of eight forty-foot containers to Ukraine since the war began. Their most-needed items have been medications and medical supplies. Joeth said, “The injuries and needs are so great, we cannot begin to ship these fast enough,” she said.

“We have been blessed to purchase these at a fraction of the cost due to the generous donors to Blessings International.”

As a recipient of Emergency Disaster Relief funds through gifts-in-kind, Joeth wanted to encourage anyone who donates toward Ukraine through Blessings’ EDR fund: “Know that your donations are greatly needed and are making the difference as to whether someone lives or dies.”

Thank you to everyone who has taken part in aiding Ukraine over the past months. As we pray for the war to end, we remain committed to supplying aid and hope we can rely on your continued support.
